We're seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to drive a major network modernisation and cyber resilience uplift program for a large enterprise environment. This is a high-profile initiative with strong executive backing following recent network disruptions, aimed at strengthening security posture, resilience, and operational stability. In this role, you'll lead the delivery of a Network Modernisation Program—uplifting critical infrastructure, implementing secure network design principles, and ensuring alignment with the organisation's broader Cyber Resilience and Security Hygiene Program. You'll also play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering initiatives that enhance vulnerability management, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and incident response maturity across IT and Cyber functions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Network Modernisation and Cyber Resilience Program, ensuring security-by-design principles are embedded throughout. Validate existing project scope and architecture, aligning to cyber and resilience frameworks before execution. Establish project governance, risk management, and delivery frameworks in line with cyber and infrastructure standards (e.g. ISO 27001, Essential Eight, NIST). Oversee vendor engagement, procurement, and delivery for secure network and security solution components. Partner with Cyber Security, IT Operations, and Architecture teams to plan and execute the Security Hygiene Uplift Program. Ensure key deliverables support improved visibility, threat detection, and recovery capability across the enterprise network. Manage stakeholder engagement at all levels - from technical SMEs to executive sponsors and audit/risk committees. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale ICT infrastructure or cyber security programs. Strong understanding of network security, secure design, segmentation, and resilience architecture. Experience with vulnerability management, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint security, or threat detection and response initiatives. Skilled in vendor and contract management, including RFP/RFQ development and supplier governance. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risk into business language. Experience working in regulated or high-security industries such as financial services, utilities, or government preferred. What's on Offer Strategic Impact: Shape the organisation's cyber resilience posture and modernise its core network. Cyber Uplift Focus: Deliver tangible improvements across network security, threat visibility, and vulnerability management. Greenfield Opportunity: Build secure foundations and drive lasting change across technology and security domains. Executive Support: Strong sponsorship, dedicated cyber SMEs, and confirmed multi-year funding. If you're a delivery-focused Project Manager with deep understanding of cyber and network security principles, we'd love to hear from you.
