The Role
We are looking for a proactive and personable Account Manager to join our Brisbane office. This is a critical client-facing role focused purely on managing existing customer accounts – there is no cold new business development.
You’ll be the key support to our experienced BDMs, working closely with them to maintain and grow relationships, follow up on meetings and calls, and ensure client needs are met. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy phone-based client interactions, and want a career path into BDM or senior sales roles over time, this is a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage a portfolio of existing client accounts
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager
- Make outbound client calls, follow up meetings, and handle outstanding accounts
- Achieve KPIs around calls, meetings, and other agreed metrics
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity logs using MS Excel
- Support ongoing campaigns and communications plans (training provided)
- Handle client queries
- Operate in a collaborative, team environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in an Account Manager, Client Services, CSR or similar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong professional initiative and proactive client service
- Proficiency with Excel and the full Microsoft Office Suite
- Comfortable with outbound calling and phone-based relationship building
- Ability to work full-time in-office (5 days a week) in Brisbane
