The Role | Reporting to the Accounting Manager
Specific duties will include:
- Champion process improvement within the financial accounting and transaction processing functions across Trusts, Partnerships, Company’s and Superannuation Fund entities.
- Preparation of quarterly and annual management reporting.
- Preparation of annual statutory financial accounts and associated tax reconciliations and workings.
- Assist in annual compliance audit and quarterly banking covenant reporting.
- Assist in preparation of board reporting packs for multiple investment and superannuation fund entities.
- Assist Group Tax and Accounting Manager with key compliance deliverables across a large privately-owned group (Div 7a, Tax, Planning, etc).
- Liaise with staff from relevant business units to allow the production of timely and accurate results.
- Perform ad-hoc financial reporting as may be required from time to time.
- Ensure the delivery of accurate and timely report processing, including analysis, reconciliation and reporting for designated companies within the Group.
You are CA or CPA qualified and have extensive experience in preparation of Statutory Financial accounts for Trusts, Partnerships, Company’s and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (preferable but not essential).
Interpersonally, you can effectively communicate with all internal and external stakeholders in a positive and proactive manner. You will possess strong conceptual and analytical skills with the proven ability to employ judgement to solve problems.
Those with prior experience with Xero will be highly regarded.
