Our client, a growing business in the financial services sector, is looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This role has come about due to an increase in workload and offers the opportunity to support a busy, dynamic team. Located in the heart of Perth’s CBD, the office is modern, easily accessible by public transport, and just steps away from some of the city’s best coffee spots.
The Responsibilities:
This position involves a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Processing and issuing of invoices
- Managing customer credit
- Performing account and statement reconciliations
- Handling daily bank transactions
- Collection of payments
- Managing entries in the general ledger
- Allocating incoming payments and processing receipts
- Responding to supplier and customer inquiries
- Preparing batch payments on a weekly basis
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will posses the following attributes:
- Proven experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables functions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team setting
- High attention to detail
