The RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of civil construction projects from planning through to completion. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving safety, quality, and commercial outcomes while coordinating design, scheduling, procurement, and on-site activities. You’ll collaborate closely with the project management team, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and performance. About YouYou’re a qualified engineer with a background in civil construction who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys seeing projects through from concept to delivery. You take initiative, lead by example, and maintain a clear focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. You’ll bring: A tertiary qualification in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline. Proven experience delivering civil or infrastructure projects, ideally within a contractor environment. Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight timeframes. High-level computer literacy with strong Excel and report-writing capabilities. White Card (Construction Induction) and a current manual driver’s licence. Additional qualifications such as First Aid Level 2 and working knowledge of safety management systems (OHS, environmental, or quality) will be highly regarded.
