An opportunity has become available for a detail-driven Accounts Officer to join a busy, values-led finance team within a well-established organisation. Based in inner Brisbane CBD, this full-time role plays a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts, supporting internal stakeholders and external suppliers, and contributing to smooth financial operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform invoice matching, coding, and data entry across multiple entities
- Manage supplier and customer queries, maintaining strong professional relationships
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
- Maintaining creditor accounts and resolving aged or outstanding items
- Monitoring and managing finance inbox
- Assisting the broader finance team as required
- Previous experience in an Accounts Officer role
- High attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working with accounting systems and MS Excel
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and flexible approach
