About The Company
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join an industry-leading global business and manage the accounts payable function of the business. The Accounts Payable team consists of 9 employees across multiple sites nationally. The company is going through an exciting period of change and process improvement and alongside managing the payables function, you will be responsible in driving process improvements across the accounts payable function. The company has exciting projects in the works over the next few years and fantastic career opportunities internally.
The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will include:
- Manage a team of 9 AP Officers across a multi-site environment, ensuring adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures.
- Lead process improvement and automation across the accounts payable function.
- Ensure invoices are processed and approved in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure payments are up to date and processed correctly.
- Assist with month-end closing and cash flow forecasts.
- Stakeholder management and business partnering.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Strong proven Accounts Payable management experience, with experience managing an accounts payable team.
- Experience in process improvement and have driven automation projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
- Strong month-end and year-end reporting experience
- A process improvement mind-sent.
