About the company
Our client is a market leader in their field and are presently seeking an ambitious Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team. The business is poised for further growth, and an exciting opportunity presents for a driven candidate to join their supportive team and hit the ground running. This is a great role for a motivated individual to join the business immediately, located in Melbourne’s CBD.

Duties
Your daily tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Processing invoices daily
• Timely payment of supplier invoices through the payment run
• Set up new vendors and suppliers
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Expense reimbursements 
• Management of relationships with suppliers and handling queries
• Various reporting duties
• Assist the wider finance team with various duties where required

  
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, along with the following attributes:

• A reliable, friendly, can-do attitude
• Ability to multi-task and confidently work autonomously
• Exceptional organisation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Experience using large ERP systems desirable
