They are currently looking for a talented and experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their close knit and supportive team.
Position Description
Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager and working within an AP team of 10, you will be responsible for:
- Process, manage, and analyse invoices
- Match invoices to Purchase Orders and process in accounting system
- Process staff expense claims, follow up on any discrepancies
- Processing and coding of credit cards
- Ownership and daily management of the Accounts Payable email inbox
- Manage time frames to achieve deadlines to ensure month end processing timetable is met
- Answering queries from both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers as well as develop and maintain a strong working relationship and high level of trust with all internal customers
- Complete monthly statement reconciliations
- Contribute to monthly team meetings
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in Accounts Payable within a medium/large scale business
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise certain tasks and follow up when required
- Be able to work effectively in a close-knit team whilst also having the ability to work autonomously when required
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
