About the Role:

Our client is looking for a reliable accounts payable officer to join the shared service team on a 12 month fixed term contract with possibility for extension. This role requires someone with 1-5 years of proven experience as an Accounts Payable Officer.

The company offers very flexible working conditions, with 2 days from the CBD office and 3 days from home. You will be working within a team of 3 AP officers, reporting into the AP Team Lead. 

The Responsibilities: 
  • Reconcile Supplier Statements & Resolve Supplier queries / issues
  • Process outstanding Supplier invoices
  • Oversee the One Time Vendor/ process
  • Oversee the Customer Refund payments
  • Process Staff Personal Expense reimbursements
  • Posting PO through 3 way matching (OCR)
  • Manually correct any incorrect fields according to the Invoice information
  • Processing non-PO Invoices and overseeing approval workflow
  • Redirect any other correspondence put through Vendor Invoice Management system
  • Regularly review AP shared inbox, assisting with queries and follow up outstanding queries.
The successful applicant will have:
  • 1-5 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Officer.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Open-minded, bubbly & compassionate
  • SAP Experience highly regarded, but not required.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, collaborative approach and relationship building skills at all levels.
  • Proficient user of MS word, excel, email and PowerPoint.
