We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join a large, well-established, privately owned organisation with strong financial backing and continued growth.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for end-to-end Accounts Payable processing across, working closely with internal stakeholders and the broader finance team.
This is a busy, hands-on role where attention to detail and strong organisational skills are critical. With automation and system improvements underway, the role will focus on accurate processing, coding, reconciliations and supplier management, while supporting workflow improvements across the function.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end processing of supplier invoices
- Review and ensure accuracy of GST, coding descriptions and invoice details
- Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding coding and budget queries
- Weekly EFT and BPAY payment runs and approval facilitation
- Respond to supplier queries and manage statement reconciliations
- Review overdue accounts and follow up aged items
- Maintain supplier masterfile including bank detail verification
- Support automated budget checking and invoice coding processes
- Assist with corporate credit card processing and bank reconciliations
- Contribute to AP system rollout and expense automation initiatives
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation of procedures
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an end-to-end Accounts Payable role
- Strong data entry accuracy and high attention to detail
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proactive communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with ERP systems
- Available to commence ASAP

- $70,000 – $80,000 + super (depending on experience)
