With a strong national presence, and due to recent growth and a surge in demand this well known retail organisation has a need for a Cost Accounting Manager. This will be well suited for someone who comes from an FMCG/Retail background, and has experience in cost reporting/valuing across all divisions of the business.
The role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for providing operations finance support. Your duties will include:
- Responsible for compiling costing data for month end process.
- Working closely with the operations and logistics team.
- Standard costing monthly including production variances and reporting.
- Preparation of reports to finance & manufacturing including labour.
- Inventory reporting and data integrity relating to inventory items.
- Work closely with the supply planning team (inventory).
- Budgeting and forecasting activities for operations and manufacturing.
- Valuating all cost for inventory/product and logistics.
You will have experience working in a similar position across the FMCG and/or Retail industry, and preferably be degree qualified. Your ability to “talk” to the business and influence outcomes is essential.
