About the Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a close-knit team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the accounts receivable function, including:
- Managing and maintaining the AR ledger
- Following up overdue accounts via phone and email
- Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Allocating payments accurately and efficiently
- Collaborating with internal teams to address billing queries
- Preparing regular AR and aging reports
- Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting
- Driving process improvements within the AR function
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks as required
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Officer role
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
- A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented mindset
- $35–$40 per hour + superannuation
- Ongoing assignment with potential for extension
