Due to some new contract wins, a new position has been created for an Accounts Receivable superstar!
About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be crucial in managing the billing and receipting processes, ensuring timely collection of revenues, and maintaining accurate financial records and reports. Your role will involve close interaction with both internal and external parties so strong communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities would include;
- Generate and send out invoices and account statements
- Ensure timely collection of payments by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Resolve billing and customer credit issues
- Apply payments received to customer accounts promptly and accurately
- Maintain accounts receivable files and records
- Produce monthly financial and management reports
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries
- Assist in general financial management and analysis
Skills and Experience
- 2 + years in a similar AR environment
- Understanding of Excel to an intermediate level
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Unparalleled attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
