The Organisation
Our client is a leading company within their industry, experiencing steady growth on a national scale. They pride themselves on providing high level customer service and support to their customers, with a global footprint. With team fit and culture a priority, the organisation is seeking a talented and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join their close knit and supportive team, as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for a part time candidate who is looking to work 2 days per week (flexible on days).
Position Description
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working in partnership with the Accounts Payable Officer, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Managing the national debtors ledger
- Reconcile accounts and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner
- Process and allocate payments accurately within accounting systems
- Daily banking duties
- Manage the collection of outstanding invoices and follow up with clients on overdue payments
- Communicate professionally with customers to handle payment inquiries and negotiate payment plans as needed
- Reporting duties
- Ad hoc tasks as required
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role, as well as the following attributes:
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- The ability to confidently work autonomously, as well as a desire to work among a close-knit collaborative team
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with an ability to prioritise own work
- A positive up beat nature and excellent time management skills
