An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable / Credit Officer to join their team immediately, for a minimum six month duration.
Position Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a small team, you will be responsible for:
- Daily reconciliation of the accounts
- Follow up on outstanding debt
- Collections of overdue / outstanding payments - via phone and email
- Providing high level of customer support to varying internal and external stakeholders
- Handle and assess credit applications
- Allocation and receipting of payments
- Processing invoices and credit notes
- Ad hoc duties to assist the broader finance team
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar end to end Accounts Receivable / Credit Officer role. The successful applicant will also have the following attributes:
- High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
- Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
- High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a high volume and fast paced environment
