Your key focus will be to ensure suppliers are paid accurately on a timely basis, whilst working in collaboration with the finance team. You will have the ability to work in a hybrid role split between your home and the office in Melbourne's West.

Overview of key responsibilities:
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager and working within a medium sized team, the role will include but not be limited to:

• Timely and accurate invoice processing on a daily basis
• Completing weekly & ad hoc payment runs 
• Statement reconciliations
• Handling customer queries
• Set up new vendors and suppliers in the system
• Maintain and handle the AP inbox
• Month end duties
• Assist the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

What our client is looking for:
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable role, as well as the following attributes:

• First class communication, from both a verbal and written perspective
• High level interpersonal and time management skills, with a passionate attitude
• A positive up beat nature and ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders
• High attention to detail with an ability to prioritise own work
