About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Rebate Analyst to join their ANZ Finance team on a 9-month fixed term contract. Reporting into the Finance team, this role will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of rebate payments, trade spend accruals and financial reporting. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate rebate calculations, maintaining strong financial controls and providing meaningful insight to support Gross-to-Net forecasting and commercial decision-making. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across data, systems and stakeholder groups in a fast-paced consumer-focused environment.
 
What You'll Be Doing
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly trade spend accrual reporting across multiple business units
  • Calculate, validate and process rebate payments in line with contract terms
  • Maintain accurate accruals with strong controls and clear audit trails
  • Reconcile rebate agreements and ensure timely settlement
  • Partner with Sales and Key Account Managers to ensure trade spend accuracy
  • Monitor and report on trade spend variances against budget and forecast
  • Review data feeds between SAP and external systems to ensure data integrity
  • Maintain and update contract master data including rates and effective dates
  • Support Gross-to-Net forecasting and quarterly true-ups
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting, trend analysis and audit documentation
Skills and Experience
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or similar
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in financial analysis or a similar role
  • Trade Spend / Rebates experience within FMCG, Consumer Health or similar environment
  • Strong SAP experience (essential), SAP BI highly regarded
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail
  •  Proven ability to manage deadlines and work across multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
