Sharp & Carter has partnered with an established and successful multinational logistics business. With an enviable internal culture, they are now seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team. This role is well suited for a person who is at the start of their career, who has a can-do attitude and who is eager to join a large corporation tailor made for career development.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting with month, half year and year-end financial reporting
- Weekly cash forecasting
- Bank reconciliations
- General ledger reconciliations
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Assist with Accounts Payables and Receivables
- Tertiary qualified in finance/accounting (mandatory)
- CA/CPA qualification (in progress)
- You will have knowledge of accounting standards both technical and practical implementation
- Exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail are essential
