Sharp and Carter has been engaged by an internationally renowned market leader that is synonymous with world-class entertainment. With operations across the world, they are currently seeking an equally high-class management accountant to join their close-knit, fun and dynamic finance team.
The Role
Working closely with the finance team and across the wider business, you will be responsible for delivering high quality financial reporting whilst engaging with senior operational stakeholders in providing critical insights and influence commercial outcomes. Specifically, your role will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Assisting in the preparation of the divisional monthly management accounts
- Assisting in the commericial analysis of financial information
- Establishing effective inter-divisional relationships to deliver analysis and commentary
- Assisting with delivering high quality management reporting
- Ad hoc internal reporting for senior management as required
- Identifying and executing process improvement opportunities
- Assisting with the Annual Statutory Reporting when required
- Assisting with the preparation of information re Income Tax & FBT returns
- Ad hoc analysis and projects
The successful applicant will be newly CA/CPA qualified or near completion and have sound experience in a large complex commercial organisation. Your interpersonal and communication skills are first class, allowing you to portray confidence in delivery of your reports and in the development of strong professional relationships with those within and outside of the finance team. Candidates with Oracle and SAP knowledge will be favoured.
