As the Banking Officer, you will take on a mixture of cash management and accounts receivable responsibilities. You will work as part of extended finance team that is driven by collaboration and teamwork and you will work as part of a business with one of the most recognizable names in Australian retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, action and reconcile unmatched POS, EFTPOS, gift card and tender transactions
- Prepare and post journals, clear GL accounts and complete monthly reconciliations
- Provide analysis on tender trends and insights to stakeholders
- Manage customer refunds and respond to store inbox queries
- Maintain the AR ledger including customer setup, invoicing and payment reconciliation
- Assist with internal/external audits and provide general support to the Finance team
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar finance, cash management or AR role
- Experience with NetSuite or another large ERP system
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills with intermediate Excel abilities
- A proactive, reliable and solutions-focused mindset
- Ability to build strong relationships across finance and store networks
