The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving profitable and sustainable growth within the defined product portfolio through the development of key relationships with customers, stakeholders and influencers, and strategic execution of the business plan
Duties
- Deliver market share growth of your product portfolio
- Achieve monthly and annual revenue, profit & volume plans across all targeted markets and product categories
- Drive & manage project specification with industry stakeholders
- Work both with direct construction end users as well as distributors
- Help increase engagement across the distributor channel
- Ultimately take ownership for sales for your product category across Victoria
- Capability to deliver strategic sales targets & results through data-driven problem solving, project forecasting management and relationship management
- Experience in the construction / building products market
- Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Skillset to sell premium products through value-add selling
- Capability to use influencing skills to solution sell products and services
