About the Position

Based in the Coolangatta head office and reporting directly to the Board of Directors, as Chief Executive Officer you will be responsible for delivering all facets of an ambitious strategic plan and effectively leading ongoing operations with the support of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This includes leading and integrating new businesses and funding opportunities for growth through prudent allocation of resources, capital and people, while ensuring the organisation’s innovation culture, strong digital capability and customer care model are preserved and enhanced. The CEO will foster a high performing culture and model leadership behaviours and capabilities complementary to the organisation’s mission and values. You will be the primary point of contact for advocacy and key stakeholders including Government, peak bodies, health and service providers, customers, members, media and the general public. In addition, the CEO will provide timely advice to the Board regarding strategic and operational opportunities and risks, and ensure contemporary governance frameworks are applied, monitored and effectively managed.

About the Person

We are seeking an energetic, empathetic and values-based leader who possesses significant experience in a similar-sized or larger organisation, ideally within the health care, aged care and/or community services sectors. You will have a natural affinity for innovation and technology-enabled digital solutions to enhance service delivery, and proven success implementing strategic plans that drive long-term operational sustainability and customer satisfaction outcomes. Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills are also considered essential, particularly with key stakeholders including the Board, government and non-government stakeholders, media and industry participants. A leadership style which empowers, mentors and builds organisational capability is required, and relevant tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
