Sharp & Carter are partnering with a global organisation to recruit 2x Claims Specialists for a 6-month contract based in Melbourne CBD.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical capability across TPD (Total and Permanent Disability Insurance) and Life Income Protection claims. You will step into a live portfolio and manage claims end-to-end with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an end-to-end portfolio of 40 - 50 TPD & IP claims
• Assess and determine claims in line with policy, legislation, and guidelines
• Review and interpret medical, financial, and employment evidence
• Liaise with claimants, medical professionals, employers, and stakeholders
• Deliver accurate, well-reasoned, and compliant claim decisions

About You:

• Proven TPD/IP claims assessment experience (essential)
• Experience managing a high-volume claims portfolio
• Strong written communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Delegated authority in TPD or IP claims highly regarded
