Our client, a leader in the health services sector, is seeking a talented Commercial Analyst to join our team. This role will provide critical financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making across the business. The Commercial Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to drive performance, improve processes, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial performance, budgets, and forecasts
- Provide detailed insights into revenue, cost drivers, and profitability
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports
- Partner with operational teams to optimize financial performance
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend areas for improvement
- Assist with financial modeling, business cases, and ad-hoc analysis
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support business growth
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a commercial or service industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems (e.g., Power BI, SAP, D365)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines
