Position Overview:
As the Commercial Business Partner, you will report into the Commercial and Financial Manager, supporting the wider team in managing assets under management. You will play a crucial role across a wide range of business functions and commercial activities to enable quantitative and qualitative analysis, supporting decision-making across their entire asset portfolio of Australasian Agriculture. With an emphasis in business partnering, this role will also have a heavy operations and acquisitions focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain review processes for tenders across all commercial supply, services, and construction contracts.
- Oversee and assist in the tender process for commercial contracts, including national accounts, ensuring alignment with operational budgets and business needs.
- Manage the capital process to ensure spending is in line with approved budgets and reporting requirements.
- Support key operational management in developing, negotiating, and executing national commercial supply agreements.
- Maintain support documentation and financial reporting for historical analysis and current reporting requirements.
- Assist in new acquisition integration to the Commercial and Financial processes and operational setup.
- Provide support through the acquisition process for new properties and ensure new assets are embedded in existing systems and processes.
- Manage commercial and financial data and information recording and tracking for all development projects.
- CA/CPA/CIMA qualified along with a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Experience in a comparable industry and/or a successful track record in a multi-national organization.
- Demonstrated commercial skills and understanding of business management principles.
- Resilient, adaptable to changing work environments.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to solve problems autonomously and within a group environment.
