Our client is a market leading FMCG / Retail business. They are seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to partner across various commercial teams to support GMs, Directors and the wider finance team with a focus on profit improvement, cost optimisation & driving business growth. This role is a temp-to-perm opportunity starting ASAP.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the main responsibility of this role will be to provide reporting and commercial reporting and will business partner with leaders by providing insights into costs, with a focus on continuous improvement. Other duties include (but are not limited to):
- Manage and lead the month-end process and the preparation of the monthly performance pack.
- Support the coordination and delivery of budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial and commercial support and advice
- Identify balance sheet risks and general ledger reconciliations
- Identify process improvements
- Support half-end and year-end audit processes
- CA/CPA 1ualified or equivalent qualification
- Strong communication / analytical skills
- Ability to business partner with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to navigate financial systems (Pronto and Power BI) including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint (including advanced pivots and formulas)
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce (Finance/Accounting, Administration or similar) required
