Organisation Profile
Our client is a leading FMCG multinational with a vertically integrated model spanning manufacturing through to major retail customers.
With strong market-leading brands, significant operational scale, and continued investment in growth and innovation, the business offers a high-performing and commercially focused environment.
Finance plays a central role in driving performance and shaping strategic decision-making, partnering closely with senior leaders across the organisation.

Role Overview
This is a high-impact commercial finance role sitting at the center of decision-making across the business.
Partnering directly with Directors, ELT and senior finance leadership, you will influence performance, shape strategy, and support major commercial and investment decisions.
This is a business partnering role, purely focused on influencing outcomes rather than traditional reporting. You will work across pricing, mix, margin, and key commercial initiatives, while also leading long-range planning and scenario modelling.
The role offers direct exposure to APAC and global leadership, including CFO and executive stakeholders, alongside involvement in large-scale strategic initiatives and capital investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Directors to influence P&L performance and drive commercial priorities
  • Provide insight and challenge across pricing, mix, margin, and trade spend decisions
  • Lead long-range financial modelling, scenario analysis, and ambition planning
  • Evaluate major capital investments ($100m+), including business case development and post-investment reviews
  • Support key commercial initiatives, including large customer negotiations
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Commercial Finance
  • Prepare high-quality, executive-level presentations for APAC and global leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement across modelling, reporting, and decision support capability
Why This Role Stands Out
  • High-impact role influencing category performance and profitability
  • Direct exposure to APAC and global leadership, including CFO and executive stakeholders
  • Involvement in major commercial initiatives and large-scale investment decisions
  • True business partnering role influence outcomes, not just report numbers
  • Strong track record of progression into senior commercial and leadership roles
  • More balanced operating rhythm compared to larger retail environments, while maintaining high exposure and impact
Ideal Candidate
You are a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys influencing decisions and working closely with senior stakeholders.
You bring strong analytical capability, a structured approach to problem solving, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. You are confident challenging thinking and contributing to strategic outcomes.
You will have demonstrated experience influencing commercial decisions (e.g. pricing, investment, or performance initiatives), rather than purely reporting or analysis.

Key Requirement
  • 5–7 years’ experience in commercial finance, FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or strategy consulting
  • Strong financial modelling capability (scenario modelling, long-range planning, business cases)
  • Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decision making
  • Advanced Excel skills, with exposure to Power BI or similar tools highly regarded
  • Experience in FMCG, consumer, retail, manufacturing, or large corporate environments advantageous
  • Background in strategy consulting, deals advisory, or commercial transformation highly regarded
