Reporting through to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Lead the preparation and review of the consolidated annual income tax return
Preparation of monthly ATO tax lodgements (BAS, IAS)
Prepare and review the annual FBT process
Identify and make process improvement recommendations
Provide tax inputs into the monthly budget report
Provide strategic tax advice across various functions
Assist in managing engagements with external tax advisers as appropriate
CA/CPA qualified, you will have either commenced your career within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier environment or have experience in a fast paced industry environment. Your excellent technical tax accounting knowledge and proven ability to handle a large and varied workload within a deadline driven environment will see you succeed in this role. The first 6-12 months will have a strong tax focus however it has the potential to broaden the scope for an ambitious type who is keen to learn new skills outside of tax. You will be detail driven with a continuous improvement ethos and your exceptional communication skills will compliment your talent for interpreting and articulating complex information.
