Located in Melbourne's CBD, right next to some of Melbourne's finest restaurants and cafe's, this business is presently looking for an outstanding Credit Manager to come on board and be heavily involved in the strategic direction of the business in a truly multi faceted role.
Responsibilities
Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Overseeing two Credit Officers
- Hands on management of blue chip customers
- Manage the credit function, including collection activity of the team
- Focus on the management of insurance and credit risk
- Analyse pre-existing processes and procedures
- Conduct continuous due diligence on credit processes
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business alongside external stakeholders
- Facilitate closer relationships with Finance and the wider business
- Month end and year end debtor reporting
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for this position will require the following experience and skills:
- Extensive experience in a similar credit management position
- Strong credit risk assessment experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proven capacity to both develop and execute change management strategy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
