An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated Credit and Collections Officer to join their team. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual seeking a diverse and challenging position, who is passionate about the Credit field and committed to building strong relationships that support company growth and success.

  
About the Role:
Reporting to the Credit Manager and working collaboratively among a close knit team, the role will include but not be limited to:

• Daily account reconciliations
• Timely collection of outstanding invoices and overdue accounts 
• Set up payment plans 
• Allocate and receipt payments in a timely manner
• Ensure all credit claims received are lodged and communicated accordingly 
• Set up new accounts and customers, including the completion of credit checks
• Follow up on overdue accounts
• Record collection activities
• Resolve payment issues with customers and internal teams
• Resolve any payment discrepancies
• Respond accordingly to queries from internal and external stakeholder
• Other ad hoc duties to assist the broader team

  
About You:
To be considered as a successful applicant for this business, you will be an experienced Credit Officer, who is detail-oriented with a proven track record in managing the credit processes. Your excellent communication skills allow you to effectively liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely payment collections. You are adept at reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and implementing solutions proactively. The ideal individual will have a reliable and positive attitude, a willingness to provide support in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail.
