We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Migration Specialist for our client in the Eastern suburbs. The successful candidate will have experience in setting up and managing data warehouses and will be responsible for migrating data from legacy systems (Syteline & Dynamics) to our client’s new ERP system (NetSuite). This role requires a deep understanding of data migration processes, data modelling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools.

The position is for 5 days onsite in the eastern suburbs office. 6-8 Week contract with the possibility of extension. 

Key Responsibilities:
Data Migration:

• Plan, design, and execute data migration strategies from legacy systems to the new ERP system.
• Develop and maintain data migration scripts and tools to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer.
• Validate data post-migration to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues in a timely manner.

Data Warehouse Development:

• Design, develop, and implement a data warehouse to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
• Create and maintain ETL processes to load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
• Develop data models, schemas, and documentation to support data warehousing and analytics.
• Optimize data warehouse performance and ensure data integrity and security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Migration Specialist and Data Warehouse Developer.
• Strong knowledge of data migration processes, ETL tools, and data modelling.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Microsoft, Google).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based data warehouse solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
• Certification in data management or related areas.
