About the Role:

The Digital Marketing Manager plays a critical leadership role in building
out client's digital marketing capabilities. As a newly created team leadership position, this role is responsible for developing and managing a specialist digital marketing function focused on performance advertising, CRM, SEO, analytics, and marketing technology infrastructure.

The role involves organizational planning, team setup, resourcing, process
development, and performance tracking — all aimed at enabling digital
marketing excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy & Planning:

  • Define the digital marketing vision, team structure, and roadmap.
  • Active resource planning to deliver on digital marketing objectives.
  • Align digital goals to the group’s overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Input into holistic marketing budget forecasting.
Performance Advertising:
  • Lead the strategy and execution of all paid media channels — including Google, Meta, native ads, directories, and digital publishers 
  • Continuously test and optimize ads to drive ROI, acquisition, and media efficiency.
  • Manage digital advertising budget and performance dashboards.
SEO & Organic Growth:
  • Accountable for driving SEO strategy with a focus on non-branded traffic and conversion growth.
  • Oversee technical audits, backlinking strategies, and on-page content improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external content teams and SEO partners.
CMS & Landing Page Management:
  • Accountable for CMS management and performance including creation of bespoke landing page development for campaigns.
  • Ensure scalable processes for page builds, testing, and creative versioning.
  • Define analytics requirements and connect web data with marketing insights.
CRM, Email workflows & Data Analytics:
  • Accountable for building and managing marketing automation, lifecycle campaigns, and email workflows.
  • Collaborate closely and support Brand & Comms team in delivering their campaign led EDM campaigns
  • Collaborate with Brand & Comms in development of EDM design and content while holding the responsibility for technical set up and sends/delivery.
  • Be the key point of contact for reporting on digital/media performance and collaborate across departments on data strategy
Team & Agency Management:
  • Build and manage the digital marketing team and its agency partners (performance, SEO, data, and web development).
  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance
  • Lead team onboarding, development, and performance reviews.
  • Provide clarity on priorities, team structure, and output expectations.
Stakeholder Education & Communication:
  • Educate the wider business on the digital marketing roadmap, team performance, and evolving trends.
  • Clearly communicate campaign performance and digital plans to senior leadership.
  • Translate complex digital insights into actionable business updates.
  • Manage External partners: Media Agencies, SEO Partners, CRM Vendors, Web Development Agencies/Freelancers, Data & Attribution Platforms, Digital Publishers/Ad Platforms

Key Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or
    related field
  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing in client and/or agency side.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-channel digital campaigns
    (Search, Social, Programmatic, Native).
  • Deep experience with data-led performance marketing, attribution
    modeling, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong team and agency management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of key digital platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads
    Manager, SEO platforms, CRM tools).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
