About the Position
Reporting to Chief Information Officer, the Digital Strategy, Innovation and Architecture Manager owns and maintains the enterprise architecture, formulating digital strategies, component and product roadmaps, delivering against the prioritisation requirements across Council. The Manager ensures the strategy, information and data, EA, and Innovation teams are aligned to support the business and emerging citizen services.

 It will manage and lead a team of up to 50 highly skilled and experienced strategists, architects, planners, data engineers and integration specialists to ensure they are focused on priority deliverables in a complex and demanding environment.

Council is moving towards adopting next generation and live business systems to help inform citizens and drive outcomes. This role will design and transition the Council to the next generation digital services with real-time data integration of line-of-business systems, public registers and data-feeds from smart-places and sensors.

About the Person
You are a values-driven senior leader who brings a high standard of professional ethics and integrity. Your will bring experience from within a large, complex ICT function in a significant commercial organisation or similar public sector environment. You can demonstrate knowledge and experience in strategic planning for digital services, working with enterprise reference architectures, information hubs and integration platforms. You will also ideally bring deep experience preparing information insights, creating business intelligence views, data integration and exchange mechanisms, and real-time dashboards. You will be adept at navigating complex stakeholder environments, and be passionate about driving a strong customer focus.
