Join a leading manufacturer as a hands-on site electrician responsible for breakdown response, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical maintenance across extrusion and general manufacturing.
Key Requirements
- A-Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory).
- Manufacturing background strongly preferred (extrusion, blow moulding, injection moulding ideal).
- Strong fault-finding abilities, including PLC exposure.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal downtime tolerance.
- Comfortable with on-call roster (approx. one call per week).
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day breakdowns & preventative maintenance.
- PLC fault finding (with training).
- Support electrical engineer on improving systems & admin (strategic vs hands-on split).
- Manage electrical safety, equipment, and critical spare parts.
- Cross-site electrical support.
