Our client is an entrepreneurial and diversified industrial services group with operations throughout Asia Pacific, and USA.  With a mandate for growth (acquisition and organic) including service diversification and geographical expansion, this represents a unique and exciting opportunity for a commercially astute executive to have full accountability for the financial and operational performance of their division.

About the Position

Reporting to the Managing Director, as Executive General Manager (EGM) you will operate at the strategic, commercial, and operational levels, incorporating people leadership, strategic planning, safety, productivity planning, procurement, and asset management functions.  Day to day, this role will support operational teams, introduce new ways of working and implement IT systems across the division.

Furthermore, the EGM will be growth focused, implementing strategies to increase capability and capacity to create a highly profitable and nationwide business and identify potential acquisitions in desirable geographic and services areas. The EGM will have full divisional P&L ownership, be a key member of the Group’s Executive Team and will lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across safety, productivity, and cultural targets.

About the Person

We are seeking a strategic and operational executive who ideally possesses significant experience in the construction and/or industrial services sectors. Key to your success will be your ability to navigate in a face paced and entrepreneurial environment where financial, operational and safety metrics are consistently met. In addition, previous exposure to M&A integrations is highly desirable.  Furthermore, a leadership approach based on active listening, agility, integrity, and empowering others will be viewed favourably.
