The Role
This a newly created position that will have a clear goal of providing detailed analysis to the senior leadership team and driving strategic and commercial decision making. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager and working closely with the CFO, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop/enhance and maintain budget and forecast models to provide greater efficiency, control, and integrity of financial and operating data.
  • Drive, co-ordinate, and deliver the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Analyse the annual budget and make recommendations to the Executives Team.
  • Perform actual to budget/forecast variance analysis and provide appropriate commentary.
  • Develop and implement cost standards for material and labor.
  • Undertake and manage manufacturing overhead cost allocation and calculation of COGS.
  • Manage costing and cost variance analysis for production.
  • Reconcile raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods stock.
  • Perform product margin and pricing analysis.
  • Prepare monthly Dashboard (KPIs) report.
  • Produce monthly P&L reports for both wholesale and retail operations, along with insightful commentary.
  • Prepare operational reports and adhoc reports as required.
  • Provide performance insights, analysis, and recommendations to internal stakeholders to support decision-making and drive business performance.
  • Analyse budget vs actual variances and drive countermeasures.
  • Analyse sales, production, and key business expenses.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification 
  • Experience working in a product based environment
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and business planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
