An exciting role with a global industry-leading Manufacturing organisation currently exists in order to fill a business-critical role in their team. This Finance Business Partner position will partner with the Operations teams to ensure financial outcomes are in line with the strategic direction. Initially this will be a 3 month contractual assignment. Please note that occasional travel will be required to various sites/plants/factories in Queensland.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Divisional Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
- Budgeting, forecasting & planning
- Responsibility for maintaining the standard costs
- Preparation of costs for new product requests
- Promote Documentation and Process improvement through improved controls and business processes
- Work collaboratively with Operations Managers and GM's, to maximise financial performance of the factories/sites/plants
- Assistance in capex process
- Create and drive a culture of excellence through all interactions with the business.
- Develop constructive business partnering relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Evaluate budgets, proposed expenditure, and business changes for commercial astuteness.
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail and a product costing background. You will have previous experience with SAP and BI tools. Prior experience within the Manufacturing sector will also be viewed favourably.
