Reporting into the Head of Finance, Shared Services, the Finance Manager will be responsible for:
- Preparing of Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Yearly Statutory Financial Statements
- Preparation of the Management reporting pack
- Analysis and reporting of financial and transactional reports including performing financial analysis and providing meaningful commentary
- Staff Management of 3 staff
- Provide support to the business for the production of budgets, forecast
- Responsible for the Australian tax obligations including GST, FBT and Company Tax
- Oversight of cashflow reporting payment management for the Australian business
- Oversee the General Ledger maintenance and monthly reconciliation process
- Ensure financial and administrative functions are performed in an efficient and timely manner by managing workloads of staff, monitoring and developing work systems, determining priorities, developing and implementing policies and guidelines
- Oversight of internal control processes, certifications, approvals etc.
- Reporting under IFRS and USGAAP requirements
- Oversee accounting and reporting for fixed assets and inventory
- Oversee asset retirement obligations (ARO) calculations, reporting and accounting
- Lease accounting (operating and finance)
- Take-up accruals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications and experience;
- Bachelors or Post-Graduate degree in Accounting
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Experience with Microsoft AX Dynamics or large-scale ERP system
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience working as a Finance Manager
