This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to advance their career by joining a growing property business. This role offers the chance to work directly with C-level stakeholders and help to grow a large property investment portfolio. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enhance your management skills by leading a growing team.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Financial and management reporting.
- Budgeting and forecasting for property portfolios.
- Provision of key analysis and insights on property investments.
- Management of a small finance team (3 direct reports).
- Driving systems integration and process improvements.
- Accounting for GST, BAS, and managing FBT related to property transactions.
- Preparation and ownership of month-end closing.
- Partnering with and supporting wider business departments, including property management and sales teams.
- Financial forecasting and project analysis for new property developments and acquisitions.
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience managing a small team (desired).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment.
- 4+ years of experience as a Senior Accounting professional, preferably in the property sector.
