Become a part of a true industry leading retailer as a Finance Manager reporting into the talented Financial Controller and working closely with the head of Finance. In this diverse role, you will be responsible for the financial reporting function, budgeting and forecasting, as well as being responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities and partnering closely with senior stakeholders and executives in various ad-hoc projects/requests, whilst managing a team of 3 direct reports.
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Drive process improvement in an effort to create efficiencies across the function
- Financial reporting
- Support budgeting & forecasting processes
- Partner with senior and executive stakeholders
- Accounting for newly acquired entities and management of ongoing integration into the consolidated group
- Review internal controls, prepare monthly compliance pack, and recommend/implement improvements to Finance and internal controls.
- Lead, develop, and engage a high-performing team of 3 direct reports
- Liaise with overseas counterparts (APAC)
- Ad-hoc and special project works
You will be a CA/CPA qualified finance professional with outstanding communication and influencing skills. You will have experience within a large organisation and be technically astute with the ability to operate within a dynamic environment. Previous Big 4 experience will be considered highly advantageous as well as experience managing a team.
