Located in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs, our client is seeking a technically strong and impactful Senior Financial Accountant to act as a 2IC to the Financial Controller during a secondment. Offering hybrid working arrangements with a people first culture, this retail business is seeking an experienced candidate with strong reporting to join their team! 
  
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 
- Producing Monthly Management packs for the Board
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Updating and maintaining the General Ledger 
- Reviewing Insurance policies 
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register 
- Analysis around monthly results - i.e Variance, Budgets vs Actuals 
  
To be successful in your application, you will be CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years experience in a large and complex environment. You will possess exceptional communication skills, as your ability to interact with internal stakeholders will be imperative to your success.
