Our client is a community-centric Not-for-Profit Organisation, taking a people first approach. With an exciting acquisition on the horizon and further plans for development, our client is seeking a technically strong Financial Accountant to join their team during and beyond this transitional period. 
  
Reporting directly to the CFO, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

• Manage Month End close, including Journals, Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.
• Supporting the transactional accounting functions within the business; Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables.
• Compile and submit BAS/PAYG for the business.
• Document processes and drive improvement across all finance business procedures.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure financial processes are adhered to.
  
  
• Coordinate and assist in interim and Year- End audits with external auditors.
  
  To be successful in your application, you will be CA/CPA Qualified. Ideally with NFP/ Healthcare industry experience. You will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and regulations. You will possess excellent problem-solving abilities and communication, as your ability to interact with internal stakeholders will be critical to your success.
