About the role:
Attention to detail and adherence to financial accounting standards and regulatory requirements are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting in generating insightful reports to minimise organisational risks.
Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting and month end processing
- Cashflow Management
- Maintenance of fixed asset register
- Reconciliations of general ledger, balance sheet and bank accounts
- Overseeing of Accounts staff and ensuring data/ journals are correct and accurate
- Tax and compliance: BAS, FBT, and GST
- System improvement and driver of efficiencies
- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
- Prior experience with SAP is necessary.
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is essential.
- Possess a strong knowledge of taxation and legislated requirements, including PAYG, FBT, Superannuation, and Workcover.
