About the Role

This role involves a mix of tax and financial accounting responsibilities. The successful candidate will manage tax compliance including FBT, BAS, Corporate Income Tax and Transfer Pricing.  Additionally, you will contribute to financial reporting and analysis in line with local GAAP and IFRS, ensuring accuracy in the monthly and year-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Tax

• Prepare and manage tax returns and compliance for FBT, BAS, and Corporate Income Tax
• Handle Transfer Pricing documentation and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Treasury - assist with tax strategies and manage tax-related cash flow projections

Financial Accounting

• Deliver accurate accounting and financial reporting in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS
• Effectively contribute to the end-of-month financial reporting process for the group, ensuring timely and accurate submission to headquarters
• Perform detailed analysis of the general ledger, complete monthly reconciliations, and proactively resolve issues or anomalies
• Support the annual audit process, including statutory audits, internal audits, and stock takes, in coordination with external auditors and internal stakeholders
• Identify and implement improvements to month-end reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy
