The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to take ownership of core financial processes. working with the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in month-end reporting, reconciliations, and continuous improvement initiatives while contributing to a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain related registers
• Prepare and post accruals and journals in collaboration with Finance Business Partners
• Analyse income statement accounts to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting
• Assist with month-end tasks and reporting across multiple departments
• Contribute to process improvements and strengthen the reporting and control environment
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial support
• Uphold compliance with internal policies, work health and safety standards, and professional codes of conduct

The Candidate

• Tertiary qualified in Accounting with CA/CPA accreditation or working towards
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, preferably in a large organisation
• Proven ability to interpret and analyse financial data to support business decisions
• High-level Excel and financial systems skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
• Experience in healthcare is desirable but not essential
