Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, audit preparation, compliance, and month-end processes. You'll also support broader finance projects and work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business.
- Full ownership of financial accounting processes.
- Preparation of monthly bank, balance sheet, and other reconciliations.
- Monthly revenue, commission, and expense calculations.
- Oversight of P&L and balance sheet functions.
- Debtors management and ad hoc invoicing (e.g. rebates, contributions).
- Intercompany reconciliations and point of contact for related queries.
- BAS preparation and submission at group consolidated level.
- Prepare and review audit schedules, financial statements, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and local tax/regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors during bi-annual audits.
- Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting, including capex planning.
- Lead and support ad hoc projects, including process improvement and system upgrades.
- Drive and manage the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met and accruals are accurate.
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA or CPA qualified (or currently studying toward qualification).
- 2+ years' experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably in retail, FMCG, Manufacturing or a high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven experience improving systems and processes.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
