Our client is a global consumer goods leader whose products are found in households all around world. They are a diversified group who continue to grow through strategic acquisition as well as through their existing channels.

Due to positive changes within the business through acquisitions, we are looking to appoint a Financial Accountant in a 6-month temporary opportunity. After the initial 6 months, there is a high possibility that the successful candidate will be transitioned into a permanent position.

More specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of month-end accounts and compliance with Ensuring the integrity of the financial result of AU and NZ via journal posting, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
• Reporting of the profit & loss by therapeutic area on a monthly basis
• Cash flow forecasting 
• Assist in preparation of information for auditors

Requirements: 

• Relevant qualifications- bachelor of business, accounting or commerce or similar, along with CPA/CA
• 5+ years experience in a similar position
• Comfortable with multiple IT systems
• Familiar with SAP a distinct advantage 
• Adaptable
• Willingness to try new things
• A self-starter
