An opportunity has arisen for a strong technical all-round Financial Accountant to join a fast, dynamic, and growing ASX listed business, who are on their way to being real leaders within their field. Taking a hands-on approach, this role will assist and lead the half year and year end accounts around Appendix 4D and 4E. You will be part of a small team and report to the Financial Controller.
The responsibilities
The main duties include:
- Prepare of monthly financials, half year (4D) and annually (4E) statutory accounts (including variance analysis) for Australia Stock Exchange and cash flow (4C)
- Assist with cash flow monitoring, reporting, and forecasting
- Ensure compliance in accordance with accounting standards
- Liaise with external auditors in respect of financial audits and other audits of group entities
- Balance Sheet reconciliation and commentary
- Financial Accounting subject matter expert for NetSuite
- Assist the team to effectively manage transactional accounting required including Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Intercompany and Payroll transactions.
- Qualified CPA or CA
- 5 years plus post qualification experience, of which some must be commercial
- ASX listed experience with Statutory Accounts preparation in medium or large business
- Group reporting in a multinational environmental either in a head office or in a subsidiary business.
- Hands on experience in complex multicurrency consolidations using appropriate consolidation tools
- Recognised ERP system experience such as NetSuite
