About the Role:
- Financial Accounting and Analysis: Complete month-end journals, including accruals, ensuring compliance with business guidelines. Review month-end results and offer insightful commentary on variances. Prepare tax entries and collaborate with the team to ensure timely action on outstanding items.
- Business Support: Lead investigations into variances, provide expert advice on finance policies, and support projects and new initiatives.
- Compliance and Reporting: Complete balance sheet account reconciliations, ensure compliance with finance policies, assist in drafting new policies, and compile audit-related information.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing finance systems and processes
About You:
- Completed CA/CPA studies.
- Prior experience in a similar role in a medium to large organization.
- Demonstrated experience in month-end close and reporting.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience post graduate experience.
- Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing processes and procedures.
- Excellent communicator with ability to build rapport across the organization.
- Experience in using a large scale ERP system (Oracle)
- Proficient in using Finance BI Tools (TM1)
